William Muir's The Caliphate: Its Rise, Decline, and Fall is now complete up to the end of the first year of the Caliphate. A short observation on the title Sayyid was added in the Index to Islam.

A Turkish believer contributed the story of his Faith Journey from Islam into Christianity. The article God, His Word, and the Qur'an in Islam is a thorough look at one of the most difficult problems of Islamic theology and its relationship to the doctrine of the Trinity. We now offer Samuel Zwemer's classic The Moslem Doctrine of God. But it is Muslim polemicist Shabir Ally who gets most of the attention today: Shabir Ally and the crucified Messiah responds to his main argument at his last debate with Jay Smith, another article deals again with Shabir Ally's misuse of Bruce Metzger's book on the New Testament text, and finally an Open Challenge to Shabir Ally for a Public Debate.

Also the term "Jihad" needs a clear explanation in these days of political correctness. Therefore we make available the entry on JIHAD from T.P. Hughes' Dictionary of Islam. Today is the beginning of a series of articles exposing Dr. Jamal Badawi's regularly repeated lies. Three articles by Silas: Muhammad and the Bible, Ahmed, Allah, and Abrogation, and Muhammad and Satan.

The material on Islamically motivated terrorism and Christian responses to it that we have developed in the last two months has now moved from the entry page display to a new, separate section on Islam & Terrorism. Many people have recently raised the issue whether there is any difference between the "violent passages" in Bible and Qur'an. The article Violence in the Bible and the Qur'an: A Christian Perspective gives some valuable first insights for this discussion. We consider the book Mission to Islam and Beyond - A Practical Theology of Mission by Jens Christensen to be a major contribution and help for viewing Islam from a Christian perspective. The final sections (4, 5, 6 and appendix) were added to the French version of Dr. Campbell's book The Qur'an and the Bible in the light of history and science.

Today's additions are about numbers, for those who want to believe in them: More is better? looks at the argument for the truth of Islam based on growth rates of Muslims. How Muslims try to keep low the numbers of those who leave Islam: The Law of Apostasy in Islam, and the only admissible "weapon" of true Christians to increase those numbers is introduced in the Call for Prayer. Several items about numbers in the Quran: A rebuttal to Shabir Ally's response on the Qur'an contradiction regarding inheritance shares(*), How many days did Allah need to destroy the people of Aad?, and a rebuttal to some Muslim claims regarding the number of days in the year.

Al-Masihu-Isa: The Glory of Jesus The Messiah explores the meaning of Jesus' title "The Messiah" ("al-Masih") in Bible and Qur'an. The chapter on Anatomy, Embryology and Genetics was properly formatted and the footnotes added, as well as an article with a more detailed look at The Qur'an on Semen Production. The article Islam: The Iron Ceiling was added as next installment in the series Second looks at Common Muslim Assumptions and some Muslim responses to the article "Equality for All in the Umma?" of the same series are answered in Champions of Inequality Argue for Equality. We give a response to the recent Muslim claim of Muhammad being predicted in Hindu Scriptures as the Kalki Avatar. A little snippet was added to the section of different Qur'an Versions: Who wrote?

The Life of Mahomet, Volume IV by Sir William Muir completes this classical biography of Muhammad. Furthermore, Arthur Jeffery's essay The Textual History of the Qur'an was added and the first chapter of an Arabic translation of John Gilchrist's Jam' al-Qur'an.

Dr. Ernest Hahn shares observations regarding an alleged Conspiracy Against the Quranic Text.
